Surrounded by magnificent scenery the Hoy Centre is ideally situated for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
The centre was completely refurbished in 2005 and offers high quality, four star accommodation.
All rooms are en-suite (with shower) and each room has twin beds and a bunk bed, seats, lockers and all bedding.
One room is equipped for wheelchair access. There is a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with TV and a separate spacious dining hall.
Underfloor heating ensures a comfortable temperature. Washing and drying facilities are also available.
Much of North Hoy is owned and managed by the RSPB. The reserve comprises 3,500 ha of upland heath and cliffs with a large variety of birds. Off the west coast is The Old Man of Hoy, a 137m sea stack, perhaps Orkney’s most famous landmark and a great place to see puffins.
The dramatic hills of North Hoy and stunning sea cliffs offer excellent walking.
The shop at Lyness has closed so the nearest shop is 20 miles away.
Walkers and groups welcome scheme awarded.
